ABOUT
Hi there! I’m a trained social scientist, strategist, product builder and data person. Raised by artists and scientists, I get just as excited about a well-crafted sentence as I do about a well-designed dashboard or a well-structured meeting.
A through line in my professional and personal life has been a passion for reducing unnecessary suffering, whether that’s through my ten years in the diversity, equity and inclusion space or my personal engagement across many issues, including mental health and climate change.
As we face enormous threats to our natural environment and ever-widening social and economic inequality, I believe nothing is more important than how we collectively generate and execute on solutions to these problems.
For that reason, I’m curious about how we organize and innovate; how ideas are heard and decisions are made, how we navigate organizational conflict and inertia, and ultimately how we give ourselves the best chance of spending our brief time doing the things that matter to us.
BACKGROUND
Most recently, I spent 5 years at Paradigm, a strategy consulting firm, where I led data and consulting teams and built one of our core product offerings. More information about my work is available here. It was this kind of whirlwind and formative opportunity that drew me away from the Management and Organizations PhD program at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Management, where I received a Master's in Business Science. You can find more about my work history here.
I’ve called California home since 2011, but before that braved the winters in Poughkeepsie, NY in order to graduate from Vassar College with degrees in Sociology and Chinese. I was born and raised in Delaware (and am always happy to be the first person you meet from the first state).
TODAY
I’m currently consulting on People/Talent, Operations, and Organizational Strategy for Electrified Thermal Solutions, a Medford, MA-based startup working to electrify industrial heat.
